Terms of Reference Internship Program CEO@Faculty Programme

Introduction

The Sangkutan Program under the CEO@Faculty Program is a program that focuses on the application of leadership elements at the university level among young lecturers (PhD graduates) and Management and Professional Groups (P&P) in preparing themselves as leaders who will lead top management. and the strategic position of the university in the future. This lecturer and P&P group will be placed in the CEO's organization for six (6) months to provide an opportunity to follow and learn the operations of a company/agency as well as deepen the knowledge of CEO leadership.

 

Objectives

The main objectives of this involvement program are as follows
  • Providing an industry exposure platform for Junior Lecturers and P&P Groups;
  • Gaining experience and knowledge through personal guidance from the CEO and top leadership of the company/relevant agency;
  • Play an inclusive and comprehensive role in driving high-impact industry and university collaboration;
  • Expanding experience in the industry by fostering the value of efficient work ethics to Junior Lecturers and P&P Groups as well as strengthening the work culture in the university towards corporate excellence.

Key Perfomance Indicator (KPI) Link Program

There are three(3) main tasks that need to be carried out and are as follows:

  1. Individual KPI - Prepare a report  that includes the following two(2) segments:
    1. Details of all programs/activities that have been implemented including the impact/learning outcome from the related program;
    2. Identify and propose a solution to one(1) critical problem at the university based on knowledge and experience from the industry.
           The report must be submitted to the university within two(2) months after the transfer program ends with a copy to JPT.
  1. KPI University - Arrange knowledge sharing sessions by particpants with university staff and place participants in strategic positions; and
  2. KPI Batch - Implement a high-impact Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project with a company/agency and a publication (eg. coffee table book, CSR Project, etc).

Responsibilities

Participants

The responsibilities of the participants in the referral program are as follows:
  1. Have competitiveness, creativity, and can work individually and in groups.
  2. Deepening negotiation skills, networking skills, and leadership skills from CEO.
  3. Involved in the planning and implementation of project in the industry (if applicable).
  4. Follow all programs arranged from time to time by the industry/Ministry.
  5. Give full commitment to the program.
  6. Always ensure the good name of the Ministry and university is preserved.

University

The responsibilities of the university in the transfer program are as follows:
  1. Giving leave to the participants during the period of attachment to carry out the attachment program full-time.
  2. Ensure the existance of senior supervisors from the faculty who can beconsulted by the participants and also the Ministry throughout the program.
  3. Plan a program involving the industry with the participants after the completion of the program to ensure the continuity of the program.

CEO@Faculty

The responsibilities of the CEO@Faculty Program members in the transfer program are as follows:
  1. Become a mentor by teaching negotiation skills, networking skills, leadership skills and others that are appropriate for the participants.
  2. Encouraged to give incentives on the form of allowance or anything appropriate to the participants (apart from the actual salary from the university)
  3. Give feedback to the Ministry at the end of the program.
