PROGRAM ON SEMI CONDUCTOR BOOT CAMP

2015-06-30 GraduateS today is an important country in general. Therefore, the CIGC cooperate with On Semiconductor in a special program called. On Semi Conductor Boot Camp. The purpose of this program is to expose students to the real working world and the elements that should be included. A total of 7 students UniMAP attended the briefing.

The Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in collaboration with Sony EMCS Corporation Sdn Bhd had organized Career Talk 'and' Walk In Interview ', where the program was attended by students - final year students of the School Computer & Communication engineering, School of Electrical Systems Engineering, School of Mechatronics Engineering and the School of Manufacturing Engineering.

CIGC for final year students in an effort to expose and preparation of students before entering the workforce. Under the CAP Graduate Emloyability (GE). The program is one program that emphasized in increasing the employability of graduates UNIMAP.

In this program the Sony EMCS Corporation Sdn Bhd has given some sense of understanding and knowledge in the workplace and also background Sony EMCS company Sime Darby Sdn Bhd for attracting students to work in the company.

The Centre for Industrial & Governmental Collaboration (CIGC) Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in collaboration with Continental Sdn Bhd had organized an open interview, where the program was attended by some of the students - final year students of all Schools.

The program was organized by CIGC for final year students in an effort to expose and prepare students before entering the workforce. Under the CAP Graduate Emloyability (GE). The program is one program that emphasized in increasing the employability of graduates UniMAP. The program also exposes the students about job opportunities at Continental, along with Continental Airlines introduces students. It is expected that 15 vacancies at Continental will be filled by students who are successful in this interview. The program also organized to improve the motivation for preparing for entering the workforce.

Booth Camp CAD / CAM Technology in Dentisty

On February 28, 2015 located in DreamEDGE Sdn Bhd, Taiping Perak held Booth Camp program: CAD / CAM technology in dentistry, this program has been proposed by ICoE healthcare to train students in engineering and non-engineering to master new technologies in medicine pengigian. The program is to train students to use CAD / CAM to analyze the shape of the tooth replacement is required and produce replacement teeth using machines and materials will be used. This merupakkan an "up-skilling" process for students involved to increase their self-confidence to work in a team, technical understanding relating to the use of technology and production methods of tooth replacement. The program was open to students UniMAP years 3 and 4. Initially, participation is only open to 30 students only but due to strong participation from the students the number of participants increased to 40 people.

 The students were briefed on the use of CAD and CAM in the dental industry and has done a lot of activity in the "Engineering Technologies in 3D for medical devices (PMP)". The students were asked to divide into 5 groups and asked to solve the next problem students presented the results of their discussions.

Mini THE GREAT LAB (TGL) Workshop

  1. On March 14, 2015 at 8 am - 5:00 pm at the Lecture Room Engineering Training Centre, Putra UniMAP campus constituency was held Mini THE GREAT LAB program (TGL) Workshop, program began with a briefing by the coordinator, itinerary and program participants' understanding on the program. A total of 150 applications were received and CREST has selected 100 were selected. However, of this amount. Only 70 students are present oarng. The program has disetai by 57 students and 13 students UniMAP UUM.

    Students were divided into groups and given different titles. The title given is based on topics chosen by CREST and industry. Students successfully completing assignments and present their ideas in front of the industry.

     The program is expected to have an impact and participants who have attended the program will be accepted by industry and at the same time increasing their marketability.

Date and time of the program is on 27 - 31 March 2015 from 8.30 am - 5.30 pm and student attendance was 100%. Target students applying is 25 people has increased to 30 students. Consequently, the number of students trained are more than 30 people. Engineering KUKUM not impose any additional costs despite an increase in student participants have been placed in the Residential College Taman Ria, Kangar Perlis. Students are initially given a briefing in advance of the program would last for 5 days. The students were briefed so the students were asked to divide into 5 groups and asked to solve the next problem students presented the results of their discussions for each Kumpalan All projects are related to health and sent to ICoE Healtcare with a compact disc containing the painting. We expect this program to have an impact and participants who have attended the program will be accepted by industry and at the same time increasing their marketability.
